September 10th - Rice Owls Football vs. UCLA at the Rose Bowl (currently scheduled game time is 7pm). As of 9 am this morning, there are still tickets available in the Rice section ($32 per ticket; Buy tickets @ http://www.riceowls.com). The Alumni office is hosting a pre-game party at the Brookside Golf Club (close to the Rose Bowl) two hours before kick-off.
If you're planning on going to the game but need a ride, or if you'd be willing to take a few passengers in you car, please post a comment here or e-mail me @ wpvanv at yahoo dot com.
Also as part of the Rice's California swing, there is a reception with Rice President, David Leebron, on Thursday September 8th. The reception is being held at the Museum of Photographic Arts in Balboa Park @ 6:30 pm.
For both the football pre-game and the reception please RSVP at http://alumni.rice.edu.
